Earth: Our Dark Feminine Planet

This has actually been on my mind for a few years now—it's just that reading this book called the 'The Last Cuentista' finally made me want to sit down and actually write about this.

There's this egotistical god-complex that humans have with controlling things in the name of saving the earth and of course, preserving the human race. As much as I despise litter and people who do it—I don't make it my goal or responsibility to control others. Something that I notice about Villains is that at some point, some of them were heroes, until their self-righteousness became extreme. They become villains the minute that they decide to choose for others or decide to use the wellbeing of our planet as a cover-up for their own sinister motives or greed. You'll notice a few of these villains in the making, in action, if you pay attention to some of these billionaires who have an infatuation with space or devote their funds into "projects" dedicated to population control.

What I really want to get into, is what makes people believe that global warming isn't something that's supposed to happen? And why do we feel the need to reverse it? Is it really about the planet's sake or is it once again about human beings clinging onto what's not ours? Earth was boiling red before she manifested into what we've recognized as the blue and green planet. As much as we talk about the moon's phases, or pluto being the archetype for death and rebirth. Why am I expected to believe that Earth, who constantly changes amongst time, is not making another great transformation? With every huge apocalypse that came with destruction, Earth has never ceased to exist, and was still able to birth something new.

Unless the sun literally explodes. Earth isn't going anywhere. I truly feel like we have no say when it's our time to go on her land, because that is her non-negotiable right to choose what happens. That is why we call her mother nature. She's in control here. She's mother because of her ability to give life but also because she's able to take it away. She creates—and she destroys. This isn't anything new. Humans never had the power to conquer that and they never will.
